For our final meeting of the year, held on the 17th December, we had a fun Apple quiz. DaveK gave us the latest update on his app and we helped members with several questions.

App Development Update
DaveK gave us the latest update on the new iOS app he’s currently developing. You can find details of Dave’s currently available Mac and iOS apps on the Zenopolis web site.
Apple Quiz
Robert was quiz master for our traditional pre-Christmas Apple Quiz. This year there were questions on new features in iOS 15 and macOS Monterey (which aimed to be helpful even if you didn’t know the answer) and some Apple trivia. Congratulations to DaveK for winning the quiz!
Member Questions and Suggestions
- Liz mentioned how happy one of her friends is with the iPhone SE.
- Sue asked about controlling on which devices FaceTime calls ring. Members pointed out the “You can be reached at” option in FaceTime preferences on each device.
- Ben pointed out the useful Amazon Drive online storage service that is included with Amazon Prime.
- Liz asked about modifying birthday calendar entries. Robert and DaveK explained that these are set from the person’s birthday in Contacts and need to be edited there.
- Ann-Kay recommended the book Red Roulette by Desmond Shum.
