iPad Reviews
We talked about reviews and early impressions of the new iPad models and the Apple Pencil pro.
Mac Rumors has a useful review roundup and iFixit has a teardown video covering both the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro.
DaveK showed us this video (on Twitter) showing the virtual shadow when you hover an Apple Pencil Pro. The shadow matches the selected tool (for example a fountain pen) and changes correctly as you rotate the pencil!
Tips
- Transferring files between Macs using a Thunderbolt cable.
- Copying text from locked PDF files. Members pointed out that this technique can also be used to copy text from anything on-screen that doesn’t usually support text selection.
