Apple’s announcements from their recent “Far Out” event were the main topic of discussion at our meeting on 16th September. Members also discussed a number of other topics and made suggestions.
Far Out Event
We discussed the announcements at Apple’s recent “Far Out” event:
- Apple Watch series 8 and SE.
- Apple Watch Ultra.
- AirPods Pro 2.
- iPhone 14 and 14 Max.
- iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
DavidB pointed out that John Lewis offers a free extended warranty and 3 additional months of Fitness+ when buying an Apple Watch through them.

- Elliot asked about troubleshooting when Safari does not offer the saved password on a website login page. We suggested checking the address (URL) of the login page and if it’s different from the saved one adding a new password entry for that URL.
